The next step is to go out and purchase an ethanol conversion kit. These kits are much different than propane conversion kits which come with various additional components and basically offer you everything that you need. The ethanol conversion kits are often missing key elements that you will have to purchase additionally to complete the ethanol engine conversion.
Make sure after you have completed installing the ethanol conversion kit that you keep an eye on your spark plugs. If you have ever used any sort of alternative fuel in your vehicle before then you are already aware that the spark plugs often misfire. As a result you will need to check them regularly and make sure that they are in proper working order.
Ethanol engine conversion requires only a bit of time and effort on your part, but you can do it all on your own and it really definitely be worth your while when you take into consideration the plentiful benefits offered by ethanol.
Ethanol is relatively low-cost, is good for the environment because ethanol-fueled vehicles produce much lower carbon monoxide than those with gasoline, and as well they give off lower carbon dioxide emissions.
